Wheels make the car. You can have all the nice aero in the world, but if you have butt ugly wheels, your car will look butt ugly. 17x7 Sportmaxes in the rear are butt ugly.

At least get the x9 ones for the rear. Or if you want to be cool, get the x9 ones for the front too.

Slam it and throw on some spacers and you'll be golden.

Thanks, but the Kouki already has replacement wheels sitting in my garage with a better look. 350Z 18" wheels to be exact. I'm waiting on coilovers for the car before I put them on. I also need new tires for the 350Z wheels as well. She is going to look good one day, but she is pretty stock now.

IMO...concentrate on the stance of the car with suspension mods and most likely five-lug conversion. Then buy wheels that fit properly (no spacers). You could then do a silvia front end and/or JDM aero if that is what you are looking for.

By slamming I mean installing coilovers and lowering the car as low as you can handle it. Not everyone's cup of tea, but IMO the biggest apperance upgrade. And wheel spacers will make your wheels fill out the fenders a little better and give it a more agressive stance. You can buy spacers from online stores or you could find them cheap on ebay or keep your eye on the classifieds. 25mm would probably do the trick. What size tires are you running right now?

holy crap, bunch of haters.

1st off Your car looks Clean man.More pics please?

But yes just use some spacers for your rims to make it flush with your car.Since you already have the rims, might as well "USE" them instead of selling them asap because other people dont' like what YOU have on your car.My next purchase would be coilovers. Then you my friend, will have a pretty nice looking 240.

Repair Most Of Which is Broken.

Replace anything vital to the cars reliability.

And Restore.

THEN and only then in my own opinion should you start modding the car. Don't sell your wheels. If you like them for now that's great, Ride on them for a year or two before you decide to upgrade. THEN upgrade to something better, you paid for them you may as well enjoy them.

Don't focus on just making the car go FAST, you are around a bunch of people with V8's, it will take you quite a bit of money before you can run with the pony's and birdies.

Knowing what you have, maintaining and being proud of it all is very important. Don't go out and destroy this car please, Take your time and enjoy it.

Be safe, have fun.

One Love,

Ghasty

besides the wheels....first off, you can't tell from the picture, but i'm assuming everything is stock. if thats the case, kouki tail lights, chuki bumper, remove the black stripe and paint if need be.

I would also work that dent right behind the door.

But it depends on what you want man. Do you want a stock slow 240 that looks good/clean, not far from stock? or do you want a good clean car that rips?

theres a huge amount of potential in these cars. deciding on what your golas are should be step 1.
