Is there an advantage of carbs over fuel injection?

hey evildy, instead of a low pressure fuel pump, couldnt i use the stock fuel pump from the 280 but with an adjustable fuel pressure regulator to turn the pressure down?

I don't think there are FPRs capable of turning down a 40ish psi system to the required 10psi system. But I could be wrong.

AZ Bum is correct, and if you're running SU's they run at about 2.5 psi! That's why there are hgih pressure pumps and regulator as well as low pressure pumps and regulators, anything over 3 or 4 psi will overpower the needle valves in the SU float bowls
