A 92 KADE w/ 163k miles. I replaced the clutch about 3 months ago w/ the exedy OEM replacement: throw out bearing, pilot bearing, clutch, and pressure plate. Stock flywheel was resurfaced. Everything was fine until couple days ago. It would seem like it just slips after it's warmed up. Won't do it when its cold. By slipping i mean...i could be driving whatever speed and just floor it and it would rev up while not accelerating, but will within a few seconds if i let go of the accelerator and press it slowly. I think my engine mounts are going out cuz i have a weird vibration around 3k. Could my clutch be out this soon? Is there anything else that could cause a clutch slip besides wear or throwout bearing? thanx

either the clutch pedal is out of adjustment causing it to preload the slave cylinder, or the engine rear main seal or transmission front seal are leaking oil on the clutch.

You usually have to play with the clutch adjustment. If that doesn't work, I have also had to rebuild my slave cylinder a few times too, or you can buy a new one. The seals were bad in my slave cylinder when I bought it for my 5-speed conversion. Best bet is you just need to adjust the clutch.

If you still have it remove the clutch dampener. I had the same thing happen to me and that was what i had to do to fix it, after destroying a $330 clutch
