What effects does the loose motor mount have on the car?

I have 240sx 97' with over 100k.m/h on it. My car rattles alot... I do not know where it is coming from, however I notice this problem by seeing the handle shake A LOT!!! when I put the gear in reverse OR I go over 60m/h. Does anyone have any idea to how to go about fixing this problem?

Is it a auto or manual transmission.please clarify question or exact problem.
