I would also like to know abou the ebay ones because it looks like my cast one eventually the shaft is going to rub through the cast... Also with the sr downpipe you have to cut and rotate the flange re weld it and mod the holes to fit the dump as well.Ryan

I got mine on Ebay, but it was specifically designed for RB20/25 swaps in our 240's.... I haven't seen them on Ebay in over a year... I'm not gonna lie, this thing fit perfectly, with a 3 inch diameter and didn't get in the way of the steering rod. (plus it was only 125 bux!!) But, like I said, i haven't seen them listed since early last year..

Anyway, from what've read the SR one's won't just bolt up to teh stock cat location, and I have no idea if they will clear the steering shaft.

Your best bet is to try http://www.phase2motortrend.com to see if they still stock their rb dp for $250. That's not a bad price at all..

its not really the down pipe that's the problem guys it the dump pipe AMperformace has both the dump by it's self and a dump/down pipe combo. i have it and i got the screamer open wastegate dumps sounds great and hasn't given me a problem. it had perfect fitment i was even able to bolt on my exhaust.. great deal for a great price

this is the email of adam the guy that did the group buy a while back.. [email protected]

and this is the email to the guy at AMperformance. [email protected]

this is it when i got it . if you guys search you can see many pics of it on peoples cars.

I run a Syko Performance elbow - clears the steering shaft by a mile and is built like a tank. And a Megan SR20 downpipe with a flex joint.

Great combo IMO, flex joint relieves stress and I don't get exhaust leaks anymore nor do I rub the steering shaft at all.

That's all the information I have on him. He never gave me a phone number, and he told me that his company doesn't have a website yet.

I bought an ebay stainless steel divorced one as well and the wastegate dump is in the way of the shaft with rb20 crossmember.I have a guy thats gonna cut it and reweld it for me for 30$ and it will clear by a mile then.

75$ for the elbow +30$ to mod it=Not bad IMO

Looks like the best bet is to start with an aftermarket dump pipe, cut it close the flange and make it tuck closer to the transmission. It may require a modified downpipe to work though.
