What do you mean? I thought we have an option to disengage that, until the car is turned off and it resets it back to VDC ON.RioD007 wrote:I Wish I Could COMPLETELY disengage VDC... anyone know how to do so or turn the abs off?

On the EX by pushing or holding the button by your knee you completely disengage the traction control and water down the Stability control but don't completely turn it off...BrokenTiller wrote:Switch to turn off the VDC is located near your left knee. I call it the FUN button for snowy empty roads.
I`m not sure but it seems like the power to weigh ratio is not good for the EX35. We don`t have that much torque on this car and it weighs almost 2 tons- 3,700-3,950 IBS. We need more torque i guess....RioD007 wrote:

Thats why on dry pavement with the ex you cannot drift it.
If you don't believe me hit the vdc button in an empty parking lot crank lots of steering lock on and boot the throttle in manual 1 ( like you're trying to do donuts) the car will squeal and slide a little but the rear end will not step out and smoke.
just got back from a little drive. to get home I have to stop at a light, and make a left turn on to a bridge over the harbor. All I can say is that with vcd off, I made the left turn in 1st and was side ways half way up the bridge. If I can "drift" my ex up a hill, then this car has plenty of torque to do your little donuts...RioD007 wrote:

Yes you indeed can get the ex sideways... as a matter of fact extremely sideways but on dry pavement you can not do a complete donut nor can you get the tail out at speed... This is due to the fact that you can not completely disengage the stability control..willember wrote:

(know your limits. know your car's limits)
