Ain't she a site!
it gets kinda heavy holding up with one hand
She's a Russian too, much better build to her and doesn't rattle near as much as Norinco copies. I haven't gotten to fondle a Yugo or Romanian yet:( Look real close, better yet, what I'm about to circle, and you'll see the symbol for the plant it was built, underneath that it says 1951 to designate the year of build. Now I kinda wish I didn't put that damn muzzle brake on it, but it does it's job well and make it look rather menacing I guess.
it was actually the first gun I got with my own earned money from work. I was 16 at the time (sshhh, my older brother technically bought it, he lived in the same house anyway so it's all gravy). It came with all numbers matching stock, folding bayonet (took it off because well, I don't really need it, still have it though) and a cleaning kit in the stock. It'll probably stay in the family. Never jammed, never broke, never gave any problems, it's not real accurate, like most Russian military rifles it seems (excluding the Dragunov and their bolties). 200 yards or closer though is no problem (well, a little bit for real good accuracy with the iron sights though) Best part is, I got it for 175 dollars at a pawnshop in great shape. The stock isn't one of the really nice darkwood ones, it's more of a blonde, but the rest of the gun is great.
