What does YOUR O2 sensor plug look like (here is mine)

I ask this becaust i saw another SR20 last weekend and it had a different plug on it's O2 sensor. It's plug looked just like the 87 300zx plug that everyone says to use.

I used the 87 sensor and it won't run right with it plugged in. My stock sensor had a plug like this. I removed the pins from the 300z sensor plug and put them in mine so the new sensor would plug in. Still no go.

Is everyone REALLY REALLY sure that all the years for the redtop had the same o2 sensor?

Mine looks just like that. Try a 86-87 maxima plugs right in no rewiring or anything.

I've been told that the 91+ 300ZX O2 works.

Aye they look the same. I wonder why everyone says to use the 87 300zx O2 sensor...

Anyway it didn't run right with the stock O2 sensor either.... oah well i'll have to get out the volt meter.

I do know that there was a skinny and a fat O2 sensor but I don't know if either one made a difference of any kind. I'm not sure when they changed the sensor size, but my Greddy turbo extension will let me use either one because it came with an adapter.

teh red top use the skinny o2 sensor, and the black top use the fat o2 sensor or visa versa. But thats the only differences.

I have a greddy extension too. I am going to use the adapter and use a stock KA sensor (down stream). Plug fits, dont know how it would run yet as I am workin out some other bugs.
