What does this switch do in my 2009 Maxima?

I just got a brand new 2009 Nissan Maxima (with Premium + Technology packages) and am very tech savvy. I understand everything in the car, or at least most everything.

What does this switch do? I just can't figure it out?!

Yes, my car is equip with it. Funny; I finally figured that out an hour ago. It was the last thing I hadn't checked yet and had been wondering how to prevent wild kids from messing around too much. I knew that they'd have to put in a kill switch, but they should have been a bit clearer on the verbiage used on the switch.
