what does this connect to???

pulled my sr out for a rebuild. found one tube exiting my firewall- i assume its a drain for something. more importantly I found a random hose that wasn't connected to anything. anybody know what its for????

The one tube exiting your firewall doesn't connect to anything. However that smaller one does pose a few questions. My thought is it's the gas tank vent hose that was at one time hooked up to your charcoal canister.

However I am not 100% sure. I would trace the line back under the car see where it hooks up.

the fat tube is a heater core run off drain thing

Yeah the fat one is a drain tube for condensation off your Air Conditioner. The small one, I don't know.

i just went down and verified on my car, yes the smaller hoes is the gas tank ventilation hoes that would go up to your charcoal canister. If you don't have it, you can just leave it hanging there. I removed my charcoal canister last year.
