what does the sr20det fit?

I was just wondering if any sr20det (s13, s14, s15) will fit in an 89-93 240?? if not then will the rb25det and rb26dett fit in it? please help. i am just confused about which motors will fit.

so i could fit the s15 or rb25(or25dett) in an 89-93? i just wanted to know what the differences in putting them in were? are the s13/s14/s15 motors so dif that they all have different motor mounts?

s13 and s14 are the easiest swapsanyways if it doesnt fit , we'll make it fit . right?go ask my neighbor how he swapped a supra engine in his chevy chevette

they all fit.. id skip the S15 SR20 though.. its outrageous for the price.. the S13 SR20 is designed better. S15 SR20 also have 6 speed transmission. its really up to you though. if i were you, id go with a RB25 or S13 SR.

ok sounds good. just a question. why not the s14? but i hear the r25s are such big motors that you have to put them in kind of slanted/crooked to make them fit........ and i want something that is just flat. can you help me there?

I would start by reading the faq's in the RB and the SR sections. That will give you a good idea of how things fit into what. If you search a little as well you will find large amounts of information.
