Ive only driven one other KA-T and it sounded NOTHING like this. Im running a 5zigen 2.5" exhaust and a catalytic converter. it sounds like a jet. just moving air no real exhaust sound.

if i upgrade to a 3in will it bring some sound to my exhuast?

And if you liscen closely you can hear me blowing spark (kindof a quick sputter). I have NGK plugs that are one step colder than stock gapped to .32in. Do i just need to get an MSD coil to amplify the spark? I really dont know what my ignition options are.

heres the vid. its just me doin a 4th gear pull from 60ish i think

it takes some time to load but it oes work.thanks,~Sam

yeah, it sounds pretty sweet, was that your BOV at the beginning? 3in will be a little louder depending on the type, just remember you already have the best kind of muffler plumbed in.

How many miles are on your converter? And yeah a 3" exhaust will help big time.

Yes that was my BOV, i dont know why it not smooth in the begging and if u turn the sound up you can hear it when i get off at the end of the pull.

As for the cat, its a random technologies "high flow" unit that has about 1k miles on it. camparing it side to side with my stock cat it looks like ti flows the same. the honeycombe looks just as thick on the high flow unit.

Anyone have any advice for my spark issues?~Sam

I would try taking off the cat and using a test pipe, that might help. and if it doesnt work, at least youll get some cool flames.... maybe.

have you replaced your cap/rotor/wires/plugs recently? my spark was starting to get weak even with my msd 7al-2. my wires were about 2 years old so i replaced them and everything else and now no problems

I agree, 9mm wires helped me out huge. That and regapping my plugs to .032 instead of anywhere from .038 - .042...whoever put the plugs in my car was in idiot. I'm guessing dealership at 5pm on Friday.

I upgreded to Magnecors wires and the car definately drives much smoother now. My blaster SS coil also helped greatly. I was getting some occasional misfires, but now I don't get any.

clip and strip two wires and crimp connectors on each. Super easy. Black/stripe red is positive, green/black stripe is negative. It comes with everything you will need except crimping pliers and wire strippers.lol
