What does the 3AD code mean?

I ran a 3AD code on the previous post on the transmission malfunction Anyone know what that means?

It's OBD II so check the FSM.

Sure 3AD isn't BAD with a missing 1st vertical segment 1 on 3 = B to reflect a bad connection/data

If you're talking about the self diagnostic you run yourself with the trip meter on the dash... the FSM will tell you what they mean. Start reading around page AT-43. Be sure to run the test a couple of times to see if any codes disappear (specifically the D code).

3 - Throttle Position Sensor circuit is shorted or open.

A - Turbine Revolution Sensor circuit is shorted or open.

D - Battery power is low. Common, and tends to disappear after a reset.
