If you're talking about N/A (naturally aspirated) then it's basically an engine that is tuned without the use of a turbocharger or supercharger.

yeah, he screwed up on the title for the threat, but if you look at his post, it says right above it " whats a n/a tune" or something of the sort.

N/A = " No / Action " I think it means "No Action" from the Engine or the ladies..

I edited the title, but still don't understand why people put the "/" in there...it doesn't make any sense.

I've caught myself doing it too, but:

NA = Naturally AspiratedN/A = Not Applicable

I was reading this magazine last mont... I think it was Motor Trend or Car and Driver, or something like that.

Anyway, one of the articles described a car as NA=normally aspirated. Never heard that one before!

They use simpler terms for their target audience. But don't always trust car mags, especially the aftermarket import ones. I can't tell you how many mistakes I used to find, even in the least gay ones such as SCC and Dsport.

it's applicable to all the smart alec's in this thread.Natural ***holes.

but seriously. it means your engine doesn't have an inhaler or any other help breathing and it has to wheeze about on it's own, gasping for air...unless it has a nice intake on it.

You guys all got it wrong.

NA tuned means Not Asian Tuned. Its NA tuned when a white guy or black guy tunes your car.

I'm glad the wiki site uses both normally and naturally for the "n" part of n/a. I deal with a pill of a car freek at work and he argues this all the time with me, when I use either term. He has recieved a prompt email regarding this... Thanks for threading this guys
