What does a "Cont Assy ASCD" box do

Behind my ECU in my '94 240SX, there is this box labeled "Cont Assy ASCD" with these numbers 18930 53F01 ET70 356 DC12V K35M JIDECO Japan 35M

Is this something for the convertible top??

I don't remember anything like that on any of my cars. Have to double check when I get home, but it doesn't look familiar.

It's the Automatic Speed Control Device. Or the cruise control in short.

Should I be able to find this same box on other S-13 that has cruise control?? And would it be in the same area, behind the ECU, behind the passenger kick panel?

mine didn't have cruise control, so thats explains that.
