for me it equals an overkill suspension setup and about 10 grand more to go into savings.

I like the tire choice and feel that I don't see enough of 'em around.

agreed with the most of the changes. whatever spl parts has in your list buy it. no to the power brace, no to the strut bars yes to custom roll cage. junkyard/classified 5 lug hubs and new bearings.

fn01rc are fail i'd step the game up with that kind of budget.

tein super drift are not much of a bang for buck. i'd rather save money and get kts or spend more and get something good like made in japan apexi or tanabe seven.

powerslot rotors slotted or blanks, porterfield r4s pads

In the quest for function over form, FN's are damn near perfect as far as price, availability, and size is concerned.

Calling them "trashcan" wheels or saying they are "fail" is as dumb/ignorant as calling SPL parts' parts trashcan parts since they really have become the FN's of aftermarket S-chassis suspension components. Now, this is based on the ASSumption that you all are bashing the FN's because they have become so popular.

but the c on the end makes them cheaper for me to replace....and i have made numerous modifications to the list which included purchasing spl rear arms and stuff 2 days ago...... as for the tires those were tenative guesses as to sizes. many suggestions will be heeded.

as for the custom cage thats in the works too but i cant factor it in because i dont know how much it will cost.

performance nissan 5 lug kit is OEM its also new...i dont wanna deal with a 5 lug swap and have to change a bearing 2 weeks later..

im also switching to kts coilovers and either sell my he's or rebuild them.

After doing 3 tours in Iraq myself I am going to say go for it and get WTF you want since you will deserve it. I agree with McRussell on some things though.... you can get a lot of things that are comparable for cheaper. Iraq paid for my BMW and all the things that have been done to my Zenki. I still have about $13,000 left with many upgrades still in the works but it's hard to find time to do them and I am stuck between going SR or just going Fully Built NA/KA.

Good luck and I hope to see you and your car on the other side when you get back.
