i use my safc II to read knock religiously. i'm very paranoid about it since i'm running a stock block. but hey boosted since 75K miles and now i'm at 120K miles and it still has perfect compression. that paranoia pays off.

i heard the safc2 knock sensor will read knock AS it actually happens... not a good idea to use for me.

anything in the teens is fine

anything abover 80 is baddd, sometimes i would read over 200. i did everything i could to bring it down to 0 and you really do the numbers get lower as your doing one thing at a time, from running colder plugs, to turning back more timing.

that's cool i notice that it only reads the most knocking during idle is that normal cause when i'm driving boosting it's like in the 5-10 range only.

A rubber hose and styrofoam cup... It does work.
