What do you use to clean your exhaust?

Does anyone know how to clean the little brown dots on a stainless steel exhaust?

I've used Nevr Dull and Meguiar's Polish but alas, the dots are still there. Do I need to set longer? Any Tips?

Bug and Tar remover. Let it soak for a while.

If that does not work then a green scouring pad can be used to get the built-up residue off.
