Just wanted some opinions. I am pushing to get a new car early next year and want to know what would be a good price to list my car as.

Its a 2000 I30t autumn bronze, Santa Barbara, CA.

The ugly:
2 years ago the car was stolen, driven around town and crashed. However there was only body damage to the RF 1/4 panel, headlight and bumper, the car needed nothing mechanically and I've been driving it since with no ill effects. Car was not totaled by the insurance company.

The bad:
There is a 1" X 8" spot on the trunk lid where the paint is coming off. Like many cars with 170k+, the car squeaks and rattles. Its not that bad but it does make a little noise. The leather is mostly good but the center arm rest has a 1" tear and the driver seat is a little worn. The radio has a small crack in it. Other then that the interior is perfect.

The good:
Car has been VERY well taken care of. I worked at Infiniti when I bought it, I am the 2nd owner. 95% of the miles on this car are long distant freeway miles. (From college, long distant relationship, friends moving....) You name it, everything works, the rear shade, the power windows, the moon roof. All maintenance has been done on time.

The fantastic:
Here is the key for a buyer: The car needs NOTHING and wont need ANYTHING for some time. Brand new contis on front, good years on back are in ok shape, still a couple of mms to the wear bars. Brand new brake pads all around, fluids just changed, clean filters. Just put new belts on last month, changed the LEDs in the clock.

Replaced while I've had this car:
Catalyst, ac compressor, 4x struts, IAB valve, all coils, battery is 3 years old, starter and cables replaced last year, replaced both xenon headlights 2 years ago, new key fob and key....

So what do people think. I wont be ready to sell for a few months, so the car will prolly have 175k, but just wanted to hear opinions on where a good starting point would be and any opinions on the car.

So was the body damage repaired, or are you saying it wasn't repaired after the accident?

If it has body damage still from the wreck, along with what you've mentioned, i'd say you could ask around $2,500 - $3,000 for it.

If the body damage was repaired, then you could probably ask around $3,500 - 4,250 for it.

Keep in mind, these are just starting prices. You may not get that kind of money for it depending on the market for them in your area.
