I'm starting to modify my 2002 I 35. Any tips to get cheap parts or anythin let me know. Im hopefully getting angel eyes in a few weeks if everything works out ok. My clear side markers just came in but i havent installed them yet..This is it right here. 19" Konig Unknowns on toyo proxi F4. I also have my windows tinted 20% in the back and 35% on the sides.

Nice I35. I have an 02 Sport in the same color. I tinted my windows last week(35%). Where did you order your clear markers? I want to get some clears also and put smoked overlays on them just like my G35 Coupe. How are you going to put your angel eyes on? Are you going with aftermarket lights? If so, most of your aftermarket lights only have halogen low beams. I want to add a factory rear spoiler and cold air intake for now. And next year I might put new wheels. I have too many other projects to finish.

Look at the forum i had under the topic "clear sidemarkers" someone left me a site for paradox. The front sidemarkers fit perfect, but i had some problems with the rear ones so i didnt install them. I actually like it this way. I'll post some new pics sometime. I'm buying angel eyes off of someone who actually configured them themselves with the aftermarket angel eyes and tsx projectors.

You must be talking about MetaOrbit's lights. What are you going to do with your stock headlights after the swap? If you decide to sell them, let me know. I can do a retro on them a have four projectors(lows with cutoff shield and high with cutoff shield removed).

Speed, looks, or just tricked out?

For performance, I'd go with a y-pipe, or maybe just a nice exhaust system.

CAI is a touchy situation. If you can get a good setup, great, but there are too many WAI that don't benefit you AT ALL during the summer. My I30 gets around 16mpg/city during the summer, because of the short ram I installed.

As of right now, just looks. Later on probaby speed.

I'd say your car could benefit from a lip. Not a full body kit, just a nice little 2-3" lip.

You could do under-glows. The touring style wing wouldn't hurt either. I have a 3" K&N SS exhaust tip on my I30 and it fills up the muffler cut out much better than that little 2" piece of galvanized steel or whatever it is.
