ok, i have almost finished my project but i am driving it now as is till more money comes my way, i have a 96 240 ka24de, with a t25, stock injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump, big fmic. and tuned by a safc. do u think its ok for me to drive my car and how do u think i should treat it. i am getting sr injectors and exhaust then going to get it tuned by an actual tuning shop. since its just street tuned right now, any imput helps , thanks!

It really depends, how did you tune it? Did you use a wideband airfuel gauge? How do you know what your air fuel mix is? How much boost are you running? If the answer is more then 4 lbs then I suggest you do not drive it.

yes its tuned with a wideband, and im not sure how many pounds, i have yet to install my boost gauge, it seems like 5 pounds though, at higher rpm's i can smell it running rich and lean.

What you mean you can smell it running lean??? Your is your a/f ratio?? Should be high 11's low 12's.

haha, sorry, like feel it, idk, i can just tell, i used to have a civic i boosted, and i just learned to tell, idk, today i relized part of the smell, the oil line fitting was loose, and i was leakin oil about a drop every 3 seconds, im getting sr injectors, bigger than 370's 4 somethings, idk, my buddy has them, im going to look right now for a boost controller boost gauge, and full exhaust, downpipe back, doesnt matter if its used, but has to be semi quiet, but if anybody knows of anywhere to find inexpencive good stuff , let me know.
