I can get this car for $200 bucks. If it only would cost me $200 out the door Id be all over it, but after its said and done itll be close to $400 after I get it towed back here. Its 4/12 hours away.

-It has no motor/transmission (which isnt a big deal to me as it would get swapped anyways)-little to no rust(in the important areas)-The rear drivers quarter is pretty caved in. ^which leads me to the queestion is there any over fenders that come below the body line and meets nearly flush with the bottom of the quarter just behind the tire?

I wouldnt plan on making it a "show" car. It would be a purpose built daily/fun car.

Oh and it has brown interior...which would be changed.

opinions. GO!

Well I found these...

And I say go for it. If you have another car, I could see this being a really fun project. Is there anything actually broken on it?

broken, not that I know of. to me the vitals would be the rust. strut towers are fine, frame is good so thats a definate plus.

by the way its actually a 92 with a pignose. Not sure why. but the title is clear so it wasnt turned in if there was an accident.

The only bad part is the quarter and the only reason Im going overfenders is it wouldnt be worth the time and money to get it fixed. Ill do my best to straighten it and then put small over fenders on it ( 30mm ).

Its about time someone makes quarter skins for these cars !

Oh well. Gives me a reason to buy wider wheels.

The ones I put up were 30mm. If it has no rust in the important areas then, I must say its a pretty good find. And congrats on pig-nose hotness!

haha. I wouldnt even know where to go to do that. And a demand would have to be there for it. Anyone outside of the 240 community wouldnt think it was such a great idea.

Ill settle for overs for now.

too much hassle man... i would clearly stay away from that car. i picked up my old 91 coupe for $400... had a great exterior, shlty interior, broken windshield, spun rod bearing motor, auto, and came with a very great condition 70k miles 97 kouki ka . i towed it with a rented uhaul, and some strap i had lying around at like 11pm LOL. hey, i had to snatch this baby up. if youre building a track only car, then i say what the hell. the interior would be gutted, the quarter you can fix with a BFH, and throw a motor in it. IF thats what your plans are then why not. but, with is being so far away i think its kind of telling you something right there....

If you want to put A LOT of time and money into a new project, then yea.. otherwise I would just keep on dumping money into the car you already have... but that just me.

ive found cleaner and in great running condition for a few more $. not to say NO, but i think you might have a better peice of mind if you found something a bit more complete with less damage..unless widebody is what you are looking for to begin with. saving 240's is a good thing, just make sure you are thinking with your wallet on this one, it might cost more than you think, long term. i turned down a similar deal for 400 cash, it was over my head just looking at the stripped car and the pile of parts in boxes...also with brown interior... f*** that lol. good luck with whatever you decide and definatly post a build thread.

Decent ones are hard to find around here. Its WV...

I have a pretty good understanding of how much these things cost. I've already dug into a car that was in worse overall shape and it turned out ok, but i sold it.

I dont have the one that is in my sig any more..and you can see in my thread in the sig that I do my own work.

And yes, I planned on going overfenders any ways.
