not saying that wont work ^^^ but i used a 220 welder and preheated the gears first and the welder was cranked. i dont think its going to break. i have launched off the limiter too many times to count and got traction. i think if it was going to break it would have. also seems like your diff might cause vibration at high speeds. being that there is so much weight. and you better hope that your welds dont break cause that plate will come flying out of the case. i have seen that happen.OutToWinPAHC wrote:Yeah and that diff shown above is a failure waiting to happen.
Thats a tach welded diff at best. This is what a proper welded fidd looks like, either welded or plated. The center should be solid.

That's because both wheels are not fully lock all the time..motoman399 wrote:i said that cause the vlsd's from when i watch them doing doughnuts they one wheel looks like it spinning a lot slower. lol sorry sounded really stupid.
yes sir. with warmed up pressure dropped 235's. i figure if that wont break it then im good to go. im turboing my car here in a week or so, so we will put even more of a test on it. i am going to try and break it close to home so that when i am on a trip it doesnt break on me lolDirtyGhettoKids wrote:Did you say launching it off the limiter? I suppose that is the best way to test the product...
There are two local guys who weld diffs local to me.sr20deTsomeday118 wrote:
