Pillar mount gauges' "rice" factor > Column mounted gauges' "rice"

Too bad the column one would block my tach/speedo, not to mention the clock!

You dont know that. It could mount on the side or something; in fact it would be a good idea that way.

looks good. i think ive seen some people who have mounted their boost gauge above the column as well. i think its a good place to put it.

i also think that you couldve probably bought a universal mount and made it customed to the column

edit: didnt realize it also came with a boost gauge :P

How is it rice? Just what does rice mean to you? I think it's rice NOT running a boost gauge if you have a turbo. It's also pretty stupid not having a boost gauge that is readily available to read.

If you BLOW your motor because you can't monitor the turbo is a mixture of rice and stupidity. Perhaps my opinion is biased because I have my boost gauge on my steering column hehe

BTW I can see my tach, speedometer and clock just fine

In case I couldn't make it ANY DAMN CLEARER for you people (!!!), I put your favorite word to argue over in quotations. As in I was, I dunno...quoting what someone else had said, and thus expressing someones else's ideas using their own words? I don't care what you think is ricey, I don't care if you're upset because I think you're a ricer.

Oh, and my boost gauge is installed where one of the worthless mini-vents was on the dash bit with all the buttons. Easily visible for me, but really hard to notice from the outside.

Personally, I think I'm a bit "ricey" when it comes to gauges and what not. I want it to be visible to me, yet not too obvious to others and at the same time make it clean and look as stock as possible.I want to later move the turbo timer where the boost controller is, then possibly put the boost controller in the vent and get a r-vit in the left vent. After I get a head unit, I want to mount a boost, fuel pressure and oil pressure gauge in the box area and put a s-afc ii where the ashtray is. Oh and I'll probably get the Defi Link (white) or Defi BF gauges so they don't stick out too much.

Haha, pretty much. Damn, I thought I was too anal about it until I see gauges mounted like that.
