I was at a friend's house last night, and he had picked up one of these on ebay for a good price. It looks to be good quality, and I like the way it seperates the wastegate stream off from the turbine stream. Since I'm yanking the turbo for a rebuild soon anyways, I figure this might be a nice investment too. What do you all think?

I got one. Decent quality, although the flanges weren't exactly lined up with the piping. It took me about 1hr with the Dremel tool and two sanding bits to smooth it out a little. No first hand impressions since I haven't even pulled the SR out of my clip yet(but I did sell the M3 today!!! $$$:) no M3:()

All in all a pretty good piece for the price, just be prepared to grind it a little to help flow if the build quality was anything like mine. I also had some a$$hat bid up the auction on me, so it annoys me they don't offer buy-it-now auctions and only sell one a day. It's like they're trying to artificially keep the market demand up by restricting the supply.

if some dubass starts pricing it up, i'll let him keep it. i'm not gonna pay more than 75 or 80 for it.

idea. my friend also has some extra T25 exhaust housings sitting around. i'll match it up to one of them tonight and see what happens

I believe that some people have had problems with them hitting the steering shaft.

mine hits the shaft. it will be for sell pretty soon for about $50 shipped. I've ordered a greddy unit. The hks style has been good. I have modified to clear the steering shaft.

As for the bidding up, yea, I should have just let it go, but I got pissed and wanted one with enough lead time to port it out if need be(and it needed it). What's $20 at this point in my install???

I think the hole for the O2 is too big or something.

Bah - it did look a little large, but I dismissed it as me looking for problems.

So what's the solution? I assume a simple adapter will work, but I definitely refuse to weld this thing. The cost of getting this thing welded will probably make it near the cost of a Trust turbo outlet that I only didn't go with because of the price.

I wonder if SSAutochrome will come through and give me an adpater if I call them up. What a PITA...

i think we all already know, you get what u pay for, and id much rather spend the money on a trust turbo elbow, if this is already hitting stuff not linning up right and has a wrong size hole for the o2 sensor, i rather do it once and forget about it!.. lets see how this thing does when its up to heat!

Can you post up the specs of it. Thread pitch, inner and outer diameters etc.

That'd be very helpful.

I've already got this piece of crapolla tho'!

Well - I figured I'd give SSautochrome a chance on something relatively inexpensive and not so "mission critical" as an exhaust manifold, and they've already burned me before I even bolt this thing in!

Bump to the top!

Can anybody tell me what size and thread pitch(for both inner and outer threads) adapter I'd need?

I have a smaller redtop O2 sensor, and SSAutocrap basically said "your problem or you can return it." Not sure if they're going to charge me a restocking fee or not...

I'd honestly like to just return this thing and get a GReddy since they really pissed me off with their smug attitude the whole time I was dealing with them - but I don't really want to wait for ANOTHER part to get here before I can finish things up.

So does anybody know the specs of what adapter I'd need? I don't even know what thread pitch or type O2 sensors use...

I have the adapter for my greddy that I can try to measure tomorrow, but I have no idea if the outer diameter is the same as what you need for the ssautocrap.

To be honest it looks about the same size as a AIV plug thing. If so you might be able to get one of those and drill/tap the center for an O2 spot. I will check on the sizing tomorrow.

Appreciate it. I might still go with a GReddy elbow just to not deal with their crap. But I took a dremel to this elbow since the ports were way mismatched all over the thing. I'm wonder if they'll give me crap for that if I try to return it...
