These Rims are a new design for 2008, there are only a few of them here in the states. I ordered them and will be here in a couple days. The black insert is gonna be colored to match the car. What do you guys think?

I appreciate the imput guys....I know alot of you don't like chrome on a coupe and perfer more of a tuner style wheel but I have it in my blood to have chrome wheels. I didn't want to do the spinners set up as I did with my '03 so that's why I chose these wheels with the insert. Everyone has their own taste and I respect that.

Oh for christ sakes. Everyone knows im joking dude, I have never made a serious racist comment. Really think I can be a racist in the Navy? I would get slaughtered by the 50 different races in the military

lol, exactly, ever see southpark the movie? "operation get behind the darkies".. "and make sure you protect our planes and tanks as well" (the general states with black soldiers tied to the tanks to protect them...

anyway, let's not make this bigger than it really is, but Blake, I'm not feelin' the "must be black" comment too much either...

"All this time, I thought I liked chicken because its delicious, and now I find out that I have a genetic predisposition to liking chicken"...lol ~ Chapelle's Show, Season 2

Anyway, I like the wheels (because I like chrome), but not on our coupe! I didn't even want my rims in chrome, I wanted them in Black chrome, but there was no more Black chrome wheels in the country so I settled on chrome.

The thing about wheels is that I feel it should accent the car's curves and lines nicely... Our coupe has a mixture of curves that come together and form nice lines as well (i.e the fenders and side sides of the car) I bought my rims because, when I looked at the rims, they had many of the same styling cues that the car has, and I fell in love with them!

Those wheels are much too shiny for my tastes. Then again, I suppose that's what the chrome thing is all about.

I just always associate large chrome wheels with snowflakes. And every time a 1985 Buick drives by with 22' snowflakes I can't help but chuckle.

I think the wheels look very nice and too busy. However I don't think they'd look good when they are actually on the car. It would take away from the car if you know what I mean. But you can never tell until you see them on though. I say go for it!

Haha. I'm black and found that funny as hell especially since it caught me off guard. The sad thing about this whole situation is there's some truth to that statement cause I like them.

LOL.....I love people who have a sense of humor and don't always take things personal. Thanks for the comps on the wheels.
