Nonetheless, i like these tails when tinted red, the diamond altezza look doesnt suit the S13, but tinted it looks pretty damn good.Red or Black/DeepGrey and youll be set by me.

I guess you've never seen Bushido's red tinted altezzas... They look great. The key is to tint them with translucent red vinyl, not paint.

But yeah, altezzas painted red do look gross.

not to be a threadjack but how did u get your cluster to light up like that ? is it a custom kit or some ebay kit? cuz i know a guy in here in mi that can do a led light swap on the stock cluster

yeah, I've always wondered why most ppl didn't do that... or use an opaque vinyl overlay with cut-outs for the reverse lights. That's what I'm planning for mine.

Disclaimer: That's Bushido's car and the SuperMade demo-car, not mine. I do have some ebay altezza's laying around, but I have yet to tint them or install them.

Ehhh... yeah. They kinda do, but ppl are gonna buy them anyways. Might as well make them look as good as you can. Regarding their suckiness, word is that the ebay altezza aren't sealed very well and they may fog over or leak. Bushido recommended re-sealing them just in case.

those led tails are produced by Junyan and Hippo sleek is one of the distributors that sell them as their own product, Junyan is the Taiwanese company that produces most altezza style lights...

if you decide to go with them, my advice to you would be to use an oem kouki 180sx center light/lock/key and apply some transparent red oracal vinyl to the outside to get rid of the cheezy clear/smoked look. also use some aquarium silicone to seal them up as they aren't sealed from the factory very well. Don't forget the butyl either.
