What do you think of these ???

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I'm wanting some Chrome on the Car... but maybe a mat Silver Finish is more suited for an EX35

I like the wheel in the second picture. If I were to purchase a second set a rims it would be the M56 rims, I have stock 17"s with Michelins and they hold up real well in the winter time.

Added a Poll to my Thread.

Thanks for the opinions, guys !

I chose these two kinds of Rims for looks and Price-point. If I imported these up to Canada, I'd have to add in shipping also.

I'm afraid you'll look ridiculous driving down the road on the Altima rims. :rotflmao

If those are for the summer set, yeah you would be right lol. Unless he brought M56 rims, those would look really nice.

I'll offer you my old sets of OZ Canyon wheels for cheap.
18x8 +40mm offset and they are powder coated to semi gloss black now.
I can help you get them chromed, painted matte silver, or whatever color you like before its ship to CA

I think chrome will match EX fine since we have the chrome door handle, chrome window trim, and chrome door moldings

If I got the Chrome ones, they would be my Summer set. If I got the Altima ones, they would be my Winter set.

If the Altima Rims were used for my Winter set, it wouldn't matter to me what the Logo says... as long as the Rims look good and they are cheap.

My DunCrap Tires are wearing out... and for next Winter, I want to get another set of Rims with Snow Tires on them... so essentially I'd have two sets of Wheels.

I'm OK with using the OEM Rims for Summer use, if they end up being the better looking set.

On the Altima Rims, I wonder if I could swap the Logo's on them with Infiniti's?

Right now, we are on track for a record dump of Snow for the Month of January. The crap won't stop coming down ! I want to be prepared for next Year.

If you don't mind having 18in x 7.5 rims, why don't you look at murano se 20in rims, they are 7.5in wide, they aren't really expensive and some infiniti hub caps will fit. on the 2 choice you posted, I think the chrome will look really good.

here's a pick of my new rims, i've tried them for pics only and can't wait for spring to come!

Sweet Ride...can you post the specs on the wheel tire combo that you purshased. Also any chance on more pics with the body kit? I just ordered my wife's ex35 and am looking to see how good the auro kit looks on a white car. So far it looks awesome just wanted to ask for maybe some different angles.

Neither. Stock wheels suffice for all purposes. Put wheel money into your retirement or travel fund.

Sure, stock wheels suffice... But he doesn't own an EX35 to "suffice".

I suspect that if his goal was simply sufficient, he would own a used Ford Taurus.

For what it's worth, my opinion is that I like the design of the first set of wheels. I think they would look really sharp on your Ex. But, I am scared of generic ebay wheels. These don't even have a brand name on them. I would fear the build quality of these wheels and worry that they might crack or worse if you caught a bad pothole or something. I would spend a bit more and get something with a known brand name and a higher expectation of quality. Plus, consider that spending more on better wheels now will net you much more in resale value later, so the total net spend will likely be less in the end.

No. Stock wheels on your stock vehicle from the stock factory in which it was stockly produced are the stock tires which you will stockly suffice with. So, stock wheels! Put the extra money into money funds, or stock market (DANGER: very unpredictable).

Ferrari owners don't suffice. Infiniti owners suffice, hence one of the several main reason for these forums [for people to complain].

So why do you own a G35? If all you care about is getting from point A to point B.. then any old car should suffice... right? Why don't you sell your G and buy a $1000 used car and put the rest into your money funds or stock market?

I disagree with your line of thought. Infiniti owners don't suffice. They buy Infiniti for a reason.. they want more luxury, more power, more style, more reliability, or some other feature above and beyond a simple mode of transportation. We pay for a little nicer car because we want to drive a better car. Sure, Ferrari owners can afford more upgrades that the average Infiniti owner, but that doesn't mean an Infiniti owner has to stick with stock wheels.

I feel offended...

It's your choice to like stockly produced cars which I have no problem with it. But why do we have to own a Ferrari to have some personality in our cars?

He needs a set of winter wheel and a set of summer wheel because there is something called "weather" which stockly tires are not good enough for heavy snow

You can see this in different ways, save all this money during the time you work and get cancer and die when your supposed to use all this money you saved then someone else will benefit from this money but not you! I think we need to save for later but not to stop living. I LIKE CARS and i know it's an expense not an investment but i like this so i put a bit more money on my car budget. I'm ok with this and i sleep very well.

Daniel... thanks for your opinion and everyone else's as well.

I appreciate the lively discussion. I need a second set of Wheels. Whether I use my new Rims for Summer or Winter use, all depends on what they look like and how much I paid for them.

As I mentioned before, my DunCraps are wearing out. They are no good in the Snow. Yes, I realize that "All-Seasons" are not good enough in deep Snow, but ours did the job until this Winter.

I think the DunCraps have lost their edge as a moderatly good enough Tire for Winter use. We've been getting stuck in the heavy dumps of Snow lately. I can't comprehend a so-called AWD car getting stuck in the Snow. For next Winter, I want to be prepared and have two Sets.

I bought these a few Days ago...

I now need to find some Infiniti Center Caps... and will do so when the Rims arrive. I want to make sure I have the exact Center Hole measurement.

There seems to be lots of Center Caps suppliers out there, as well as the usual stand-by = eBay.

If I can't find Infiniti Center Caps for NISSAN Rims... I'll just go with Blanks.

I'm happy with these Rims... yes, they are made for a NISSAN, but for Winter use, they are perfect for me and they are reasonably priced and the Shipping was reasonably priced also. $349.00 + $150.00

The total cost of the Rims was cheaper in Canadian Dollars than it was in USA Dollars, because the Canadian Dollar is doing so well at the moment.

I think I will put on some Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozero's in a OEM P225/55-18 size.

http://www.pirelli.ca/web/catalog/car-s ... AR-SUV-VAN

http://www.pirelli.ca/en_CA/browser/att ... W210SZ.pdf

They appear to have an asymmetric tread pattern, so it should be easy to rotate these Tires in a "X" fashion.

Still, let's see some pics when you get them.

Will do...

I won't buy the Tires for them until Fall... but I wanted the Rims now... so that over the Spring/Summer, I can buy the Center Caps and TPMS's.

I'm hoping that I can find some Infiniti Logo Center Caps to fit on these NISSAN Rims.

I got my Rims today... and now the search begins for Center Caps, Tires and possibly TPMS's

My Wife says I could put some Black Tape over the "Low Tire Pressure" symbol... if it means saving a pile of cash... but thats not my style.

The total value of the Rims delivered to me in Edmonton, Alberta all the way from Florida was $600.00 which works out to $150.00 per Rim in Canadian dollars.

As for the Center Caps, I'm going to the dealer to see what they have, so that I can make sure on the sizing of them... and then I'll go get them off eBay. The dealers cost for Center Caps is so expensive .

I have a few www Links for Center Caps, but before I commit, I want to verify the sizing and of course, the look of them, too. I want painted Silver centers with Chrome Infiniti Logos on them.

The center Hole to be a little bigger than 2 inches in diameter... and the part numbers for the Caps I've found, are:

40342AU510
or
403435P215

Not sure which one will be the winner. I'll have to see them in person.

Using a Tire Sizing Convertor, it's a toss between Pirelli Winter 210 Sottozerro's and Michelin Ice Xi2

The Michelin's are one size up and different in profile... but the numbers don't alter the overall fit too much. Michelin doesn't make a size in 18's that match our OEM sizing... but P235/50-R18 comes real, real close.

I'm leaning towards the Pirelli's because they are a non-directional tire... and I'll be free to rotate them how ever I want.

It appears that the EX35's tires are better of being rotated in a "X" fashion, than front to back, back to front.

Hello Exceptional,

I'm surprised your didn't remember to reference the Infiniti centercap P/N from my thread

My bf was so kind and helped me source the OEM Infiniti center caps using the dealer as a reference and ebay as the supplier.

The dealer wanted $33 each.

The P/N is 403435P215 for the record...
