What do you think of these rims?

Hey, i was just lookin for opinions on these rims and how good they'd look on a Red 90 HB. They're 17's and i think they'd look pretty good since i think red and black look great together. But that's me...

yea they're pimped out, except for the fact that i've seen those on probably 4 or 5 different hondas here in lincoln.

PS: Why not stick to 16's? For the size of your car they look plenty sporty.My car (a Q), which is much larger, I wouldnt go above 17 for the same reason.It will save you rotating weight, every lb of rotating weight saved is like saving 4 lbs elsewhere on the car.

those are tenzo passion-5's....I had those on order for my car, but after 3 months of waiting for them (backorder) I went for the Tenzo mean-6's. Passion-5's are good wheels, they weigh 17 lbs each (lightweight yet strong). The only thing is that ALOT of people have them.

just a fore-warning though...I have 17's and they look small cause of the polished lip. If you want a rim that looks bigger then go with a whell that doesnt have a lip.

I don't know man, that polished lip looks a little weird on the older model cars, I would go for something without the lip and a little less ricey. Try hitting up a sight called http://www.wheelmax.com and go the the 5 zigen section, they have some decent deals there and that's where my friend got his rims when they were still sellin konigs. Check out the copses or the fireball rims they will fit the 4x114.3 pattern and they look pretty nice on the older model 240's.

hey thanks guys, i appreciate the comments and info. BTW, for some reason the previous owner of my 240 decided to put Hundai wheels on it. They look terrible even compared to stock. The silver paint is coming off the lug center piece cover which is exposing the yellow plastic/fiberglass in places. So i need to replace them soon....Oh yeah, they're 15's. Thanks again!!

the copse's have the polished lip too dumby, and how are wheels ricey? Wheels are only ricey if they are bigger than 18's or wiegh more than the stock wheels, have some kind of colored chrome centercap, or are hubcaps.

oh yeah, also the gunmetal color is a little lighter than that in real life...

Well ricey to me is when something is too fancy or doesn't seem to fit the car the car at least in NYC that's what me and my crew consider ricey, kinda like the oposite of having a clean look.

And as far as the polished lip on the copse, well, whatever, just given the guy options that fits his car...
