What do you think of the new 2010 Altima Coupe?????

As I said, the Front End lost it's aggressive look. It was mentioned that it either looks like a Sentra or wants to be an Infiniti G37, either way it's not right.

They upgrade the Suspension/Wheels, I wonder why can't they drop it as well? Instead of making changes on the exterior Nissan should've put more effort on the interior, like improving the Leather/Seats.

I liked it , exterior looks nice with that front bumber especialy how the fog lights have different color housing, I'm waitting for three month till my wife's lease due and getting the 3.5SR and put an LEDs where the grill next to fog lights and HID. I'm already planing what am i going to put on it.stock rim looks pretty nice, would use for first two years. thats all, interior with navi and leather looks same to me as from sedan.guess coupe will be the same but missing the 6 cd's changer.

Not a fan of the funky, chunky, square turn signals. The projector is a nice addition. Also don't like the body-color rear diffuser. The two-toned look on the 08's worked just fine. The redesigned front end is very nice though. The grill now looks like a Chrysler badge. Overall a positive redesign.

ehhh, something about the front doesn't sit well with me, the bottom of the headlights are too squared for the bumper. but over all the rest is not bad

I'm not a fan, I think they went the wrong direction (Now it really looks like a poor mans G37) And to the "you just say that because you have a 2008" guys...My car is a lease up in Sept 2010 and I rather buy out mine then upgrade to that!

I'm not on a lease but I love the styling of my coupe and ot of the new one. I showed it to my wife and asked if that was Honda's new accord? Hmmm,..even to the untrained eye it's evident the the Nissan engineers went the wrong direction

its not the Nissan engineers that went the wrong direction. it would be the marketing and designer guys. but I wouldn't be so quick to juge. we didn't see any of the new color like ocean gray and crimson black. plus the new blond leather and red leather. seriously I think people feel threatned by the new car... the sooner we accept it the better it'll all be, because it won't be long before n00bs be coming here with the "2010 altima coupe pics!" thread.

if we embrace this now we'll get a lot more parts for the cars since the car is the same.

I need to get a headlight from a 2010 to test fit. I feel its the same with only the front pointy tip removed. should fit in my 1st gen since there's more space. only thing will be to fill the the hole, or leave it for a cold air intake lol

I voted the first option. While I don't think the whole car is a fail (it's basically the same thing), I'm really not liking that new front end. It just doesn't look right.

Here is my opinion guys. I have a few points...

1. lets not go too overboard on the nissan sux comments. You all bought nissans. Don't look at it like,"oh nissan screwed me, the headlights are just diff. enough so they dont fit the 08-09s, the bumper is gay and i hate it overall". I know everyone doesn't have the same opinion on it there are things on it I don't like also.

2. can everone agree that the car has improved OVERALL? I think it has. The car looks more classy overall. I feel like people are just downing it because it may (or may not) look/be better than the 08-09s. But isnt that the point? shouldnt they try to improve it? It happens to every new car,(i know g35 is an exception) look at it this way...since they are not making the 08-09 body style anymore its now more rare, take the opportunity to mod your 08-09 to make it look awesome. To be honest why would after market companies make the exact same bumper or grille to look just like the 08-09s.

3. for example, lets say someone is in the market for a new car. They decide they want an altima coupe. Take money out of the equation (since 2009s will be less expensive now tht the 2010 are about to be released) This person has no knowlege of nicoclub or modding cars. They see the 09 still for sale now, they look at all the features and do thier research on the car, but then they hear word of the 2010 refresh and when they compare features and new things done to the 2010 model wouldn't they go for it? The 2010 now has projection headlights, the fascia flows better, and they tweaked the stock stereo and nav. I would chose the 2010 hands down.

4. i have an 08 and I LOVE it! There is always going to be a car that looks better than what you have, I'm not saying the 2010 looks 100% better than the 08-09s, I don't like everything about it, but that just makes me wanna make mine unique. I agree with some of the statements, i would have liked to have stock 18s and stock projectors, but thats life, you cant have everything you want lol

i'll make it easy for you if you want any of those feature:

red leather, projector headlights, new agressive fascia, new hood, factory short shifter, gunmetal knob and steering wheel, usb/ipod, 3 new outside color including crimson black (purpulish dark color) and ocean gray, vented bolsters on sport seats.

take a 2010.

otherwise take a low millage FULL EQUIP 3.5SE 2008 (dirt cheap)

if you want cheap BASE 6MT 3.5 without options take an 08 or 09. you cant get a cheap 2010 3.5SR 6MT as its the top spec model only.

if you want VDC but you want a 2.5L take a 2010 model as VDC is standard accross the range and it wasn't avaible on 08 or 09 2.5L . (a real life saver in snowy climates)

if you want cvt then take whatever you want as its avaible on all model, all years, with all packages.

if you want the 6CD changer, well it's not avaible on the 2010 cars. only one cd at a time since its harddrive based and can store your cd's on it and read from mp3/ipod.

if you like auto locking doors take an 09 instead of an 08.if you want 18s intead of 17s take an 09.if you want blond interior with 6mt full equip its only avaible on 08sif you want blue car with blond interior its only avaible with cvt and not 6MT

I could go on and on for ever lol...

if you just want the best everything take a 2010 3.5SR 6MT with ALL options with red leather interior and one of the new colors

As I mention before I do not like the front much at all. I think that if they were to keep the old style headlights with projectors and the new front bumper only. I like the way the old hood is compare to the new one.

Also is it me or does the car look higher? lol

But I am interested in seeing how the interior is. I hope that it would be leather with red stitching! I love the way those are.
