I think it's pretty cool but in drive mode at a light pedal and low speeds it seems to lug the car. Anyone else experience this?

I really like mine. For the record I can drive manual very well, I just decided that for my daily driver I didnt want to...

I think he means to say is that at low speeds the pedal seems a bit touchy, if I am not careful about only pressing it a little the car seems to want to take off.

under light accelleraion it sems that transmission nees to move to a lower gear. at this point when more pedal is given, the car launches. this is at low speeds

I know what you're talking about and I noticed it with my CVT as well. Usually anywhere that my speed is less than 30 m.p.h. the car will act almost like it would if you had a manual transmission and were cruising at 30 in 5th gear. So usually around 30 or lower the RPMs will be at or lower than 1k. It's annoying, but I just pop it into manual mode and downshift once or twice and it smooths right out.

the 3.5 does the same thing doesnt shift down like we are used to . just holds the gear longer before things happen sort of .you can hold throttle position and hold a steady rpm under 3000 rpm's and the speed will climb in speed just doesn't feel torquey
