ok I'm new here and have looked at the faq and such . my ? is do you think its cheaper and/or better to get a 95sx se with high miles poor condtion for like 4,000+/-. AND get 97-98 frontend put on 1500+/- right from duantless,or get the s-15 strawberry frontend for 3000 from over sea's.I would have to have the car painted anyhow because of the age of the car 1000-3000. then get new seats 350-550,new carpet 100. do you think I should get a 97-98 car that would have decent miles and be in good shape. I kinda want to do the sr20det swap but its very expensive 2500-6000 depending on upgrades. so quick recap

1)95 240sx se 4000 97-98 FE 1500 paint/BW 2000 seats/carpet 650 nice looking 8yearold car with 150k 8150 sr swap just put stock everything on (clip) 3000 200rwhp 14.5@90+/- 13,150+/- do think the unibody frame would have flex,I would also rebuild/upgrade the suspension.springs, shocks, bushings, rebuilt steering rack.1000 14,1502)97-98 240sx se 7500-10000 avg 8500sr swap stock 3000upgrades ,Front mount, inj, afc, etc 3000drive it, 300rwhp,12-13@110 14,500decent mileage, avg looking car. ?no chassis flex?add suspension/brakes 1500 16000+/-3)same as 1) but add 1500more for s-15 FE 14650so if the chassis doesn't show effects of wear/flex,it would be better to get an older car and redo it and have a newer looking car.right? the chassis flex thing comes up because I had a 85 mustang with 150k+ miles 360rwhp/351,subframe connectors, full suspension and you could feel the difference in a newer car(93)plus it still didn't handle that good. so what does everyone think? I think your post is too long. You should buy a low mileage car if you are not going to swap it soon. I didn't read your whole post.

well, i didn't read it all either, but i would get the strawberry face personally. but, monitary funds are an issue apparently for you, so i guess i would buy a lower mileage car if you aren't going to swap for a whlie. that would be the smart thing to do. but even high mileage 240's last a while, if maintained.

sorry bout the long post guys. does the unibody get worn out and flex like other cars,I know mustangs are terrible. also does the KA motor drive ok,if I had to drive it a couple months until I had enough money to swap an sr or rb. thanks again for taking the time to read this. later

It will get you from point A to point B, but don't be expecting to whoop a*s with it. It is definitly a fun little motor, it has a little kick to it.

With the KA, and even the SR I haven't ever heard of the unibody or suspension getting terribly worn....unless you are pushing big numbers.

The ka has enough kick for you, esp. in the winter.
