i know i know, its not name brand, but its also not a $220 bill from modacarthese are actually looking pretty nice to me in a budget comparison, plus with plans to go turbo later, wouldnt i have to either remove and use custom piping or hack my existing intake anyway? 250 bucks just to hack up or junk later isnt worth it to poor me =Pwhat do you all think?(regarding something like this:)http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...sting

$17 alone is worth the materials in the pipe and the extras that you get.

Those securing clamps are weak, poorly made in china crap. Screw it too tight and it will break.

Buy it, throw a K&N on it, and listen to the roar :)

The filter element is the main cost in the intake system.

Build your own ground wire kit out of 10 gauge amp wire and fittings.

As for the intake, it's more than likely due to demand... not the design.

thanks for the input, its basically what i figured, but any help is always appreciated =)

one last question though, while i was browsing, half of these intakes, well more than half, a good 90% of them say 92-94, and i have a 91... but its a de.... so? i mean the pipe looks like it will fit. the direction will send it up over the fan, and back down to where the air box sits now. , is there something im not seeing or something i dont know? vaccuum hose differences or something?thanks in advance

Because the idiots listing them made an error.

89-90 = SOHC91-94 = DOHC

So an intake from a 91-94 will fit your car.
