Hi,

I bought a ca18det wiring harness off ebay from a guy goes by the name of "Yspleez", the second day I bought it, he shipped it, he never provided me with a tracking number, even though I asked many times to do SO, I sent him few emails and he stopped replying. So today I sent him another email asking him for an explanation and if he doesn't answer I will report him for ebay fraud department as well as paypal.

Any one knows who this guy is, he gotta wesite http://www.silviashop.com/

Any help is appreciated.

Judging by the guys feedback it wouldn't appear he's a fraudulent seller. How long has it been since it was shipped? Do you have a link to the auction?

myetball, I knew you will come to the rescue.

I know it doesn't sound like fraud but he stopped answering my emails, and it has been 3 weeks since he shipped it.I looked at his feedbacks and they look pretty good, but it is puzzling me, why isn't he answering my emails and why is it taking so long to get the package?

I thought if I send him an email with the fraud word in it, he might get his *** moving and send me some kind of tracking number

Thank you,

Do not wait too long. I believe Paypal has a time limit.

E-bay requires you try to contact the seller via an alternative method ( phone number you can access through the auction)

Contact paypal. they contact the seller right away and the seller has to provide them with proof the item was delivered ( tracking number) --or they keep the fraud case open.

---Can you tell I have been through this once? --It worked like a charm the low life piece of you know what shipped the item the next day after filing the claim with paypal. (28 days after auction end and 27 days after being paid)

Good luck

How did he ship the item? UPS? USPS? FedEx? He should be able to provide a tracking # or something unless its USPS then it will only have one if he paid for one.

Not to credit this guy.. but I shipped a couple of items once through the USPS and it took WEEKS to get there. I even ponied up and went ahead and reshipped them items... I got lucky because the people were honest and let me know that they indeed got the orgiinal packages (stamped w/ the day I shipped it) about a week after the second package I sent. I can't explain it... thats the mail system. Now I try to ship UPS or FedEx on everything so I can track it.

I had the same problem with an ebay downpipe. They shipped the dp, but no gaskets or bolts. They wouldn't reply to calls or emails, either. I had to file complaints and wait a month before they shipped them.

You have a one month limit with Paypal. They're real strict about it, so I hope you're not over it. But I'd do as the others said and let eBay know about it. I have personally purchased stuff through him and had not problems. I think I got some stickers and a Silvia trunk lock. I was happy with him, so I'll bet this is some sort of mis-understanding.

I've bought from that guy before, never had a problem with him. Pretty legit guy. I wouldn't worry about it, it should be on its way.

I asked him many times to provide me a tracking number with the name of the shipping company but his replay was "it has been shipped and it is in the mail , you should be receiving it any day now" that was last monday a week ago.

Not sure what to tell you about the tracking # thing. I'd still file a claim with eBay just incase.

Paypals limit is 30days from time of payment. i have dealt with it before. I dont think the guy is trying to screw he is probley as lost as you on the deal. The problem is that he might have shipped USPS and they forever, Or he could do like I have done in the past and toss the tracking number since he does large volums of parts. I dont think he is repling becouse he dosent know what the next move is/ or knows you cant get a refund. The thing here is to threatin his feedback depending on the volume he does it could hurt him or at least get him to answer.

Well, I will give him until tomorrow to answer, if he doesn't, I will file a claim with ebay, I believe I have done my duties from my side, and I also mentioned to him that if he doesn't reply by tomorrow, I will report him to ebay.I will keep every one posted.

Thank you all for your input

I hope not, I bought an ECU and water outlet elbow and fog light switch from him - he shipped the switch but not the other two (however its understandable, I dind't bid on the other two as I left the house and didn't get home before the end of auction, was going to jump in at the end but never got a bid, but no one else did either). He said he's sending them, I haven't asked him since but..

he was slow to respond to my emails asking if I could buy the no-win items but he did say that his whole family there had been sick so he may just be having to juggle everything. Hopefully he'll come through, I'm gonna need the ECU! Worst comes to worse, I'll get a DE FWD ECU (assuming harness connector same) and find a CA ROM and reprogram it .. need a UV eraser and to find me a parallel port programmer and get a working soldering iron so I can socket the damn ROM :D

edit: my switch came USPS since he's in the military shipping from an APO/FPO thing.. it did take like a week and some days for it to arrive.

I have been having trouble getting parts from APOs lately. For example I had a set of wheels shiped, 2 one day, 2 the next and they have showed up over a week apart with 2 still not here. The problem is in tracking stuff with the USPS as they suck. Anyway best of luck, I have faith the parts will show up.

BTW, BIO I have a chipped CA ecu and a Nismo ECU if you want to take a look at them or get together since im in DFW.You can call me sometime this week at 972-948-3350. If anyone else calls thats cool too, I dont care.

lol, out of curiousity is either ECU already socketted or are they soldered on? I would be interested in at some point copying the ROM data out but I have yet to actualy construct a parallel port reader/writer (much less buy a commercially made one)...

I've kicked around the idea of making a ROM emulator but I know I haven't the attention span / time / money to actually do such (even tho it is a "simple" thing to make for such a slow ROM)

Heard back from yspleez:

Thank you, I appreciate your time, support and praise, I have sent several e-mails to the buyer of that harness, maybe you could post a note saying it has been mailed, unfortunately it is out of my hands and up to the USPS system to get it there, It always arrives, I have not lost a package yet in 5 years. If you can forward this e-mail to the buyer, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks,

Larry

Unfortunately, there's really no way to track packages sent USPS first class or priority, there are no tracking numbers. I'd say go ahead and file a complaint with ebay just so you're covered and don't go past the 30 day window. Hopefully it will arrive soon.

Well Myetball, if it wasn't for this forum and for yourself, I am pretty sure he wouldn't answer my emails. He claimed that he responeded to my emails within 24hrs, which isn't ture, I can pull out the dates. On ebay his status shows he is in the US but he is in Japan and he shipped it from Japan. He claims that 3 weeks isn't a long period at all but instead he called me a very impatient person. He is also unhappy with me because I mentioned it on the forum, but if I didn't mention it , I turely believe that he would never answered my emails.I won't file a claim with ebay, I will give it another week and see where it takes me, I am Not looking to bash or ruin someones reputation. but I asked him repeatedly to provide me with a tracking number where he could of easily answered my email and he could of easily mentioned that he shipped it by USPS and they don't give tracking numbers.

I will keep every one updated.

Thank you very much for all the help and suggestions.

Like I was saying, Its just someone at a APO over in Japan. I was getting so mad about my wheels but there was nothing I could do. For example one of my wheels came in to the airport(DFW, 5 minutes away) and got here on saturday, BTW if you or him has been using a hotmail acount its been screwed latley but still wouldent explain the problem. But to be honest most of those guys are hard to get a hold of becouse of there scheadules. But there is no excuse.....

Bio, The ECU that came with my car is a non-socketed Nismo. It also came with a spare in the glove box. The spare is socketed with the chip saying "BR ROM". The odd thing about the spare is that its number is 98 as compaired to most CA ecus that are marked 78. BTW, The 98 has ca18det wrote on there with a marker.

Im realley after a VPC, But I think the power FC will be fine for me for now. I will be sure to let you know when I decide its not worth it but that rarley happens when I bid. Thank you for the info also on the ECUs. I was under the impression that most (if not all) RWD ecus were 79s.
