Horrible idea... your car will most likely blow up.

it would look cooler with the hood closed... but unless you get a good kit like spend a grand + the v-mount is the way to go

I have a v-mount right now that works fine, i was just wondering if a front mount is better in anyway, the v-mount to me is somewhat cluttered under the hood.

i'm assuming you have a vented hood. in which case you probably aren't overheating with proper ducting, so if there are no issues leave it be. the response will make up for the cluttered look

fmic would probably be more cost and install friendly. plus being at the front, the core gets plenty of cooling.

v-mount looks pretty sick, but you have to fab everything up and make a ducting setup aswell. also have to efans etc. seems as if it would cost more, but still be as efficient as an fmic.

basically, if you don't like your currant setup, trade someone for their fmic.
