We didn't get any rb power cars in the states period.

Yeah our s-chassis cars got the ka24e/de, they are like a big block, they make good torques but they usualy run out of steam around 5.5k rpm.(+/- 500rpm)

I think it is dope man!! I think the paint matches the style of paint that someone would put on an el cam. so it looks in place.

we never got the rb30 over here, but i'd love to have one. actually, we didn't get any rb's or rwd sr's here.
really??wow.rb's are plenty full here.i think almost every1 has a rb20 lol bt the 30 is the ultimate motor, far better than a 26 even and stronger.i brought my 30 block for like 300bux and then all you need is a rb25 head,to make it twin cam and thats 300hp n/a and buckets of torque.ive always been interested in the ka.we only get them in nissan vans lol.could always send 1 your way lol.

You want a ka motor set? I'll trade it to you for a p12 sr20ve or a sr20vet out of the x-trail.

If I may put in my two cents,

1: Good luck shopping for your son,

2: Very well done, although, like everyone else, paint = meh but +27 for how well it was done

HOWEVER: It matches that phase that Australia went through, what's the name of it? It's like the drift style of japan mixed with VIP style wheels... It was like two years ago I was in Aussieland and saw that style everywhere, just forgot the name. 3. What kinda sound are you blasting through those 6x9's/ 12's?!

You REPRESENT!

Ok, hes not joking on the engines. Hopped on and in about 5 minutes I found a rebuilt RB30DET with a r32 rb25de head for 800nzd. Next bid has to be 1200 nzd, but thats only like $850 after conversion. And the auction ends in 8 hrs... The biggest downside I see to this is that this engine doesnt come with a turbo manifold or wiring loom as well as a few easier to get and cheaper parts (coils, injectors, alternator). So, I gotta ask, who's got some plans for a s30 or something of that sort, cuz maybe its time to get your plans rolling

yea dude, like i said we have plenty lol.in nzd $250 gets you a manifold, between $700-1800 gets a aftermarket computer then you ditch the old one and have to rewire anyway and a turbo...well i think you guys wud have better turbos.throw in some bigger injectors and get a tune and depending on turbo youve got between 400-600hp on standard internals but i wud go forged for anything over 500hp myself.sounds crazy but thats why 30's are awesome.ofcourse everyone has different opinions about it overhere, and if they read this may say its on its limits for that power but as long as you have the afm mixtures sweet on your computer you cud run id say 18-21psi ok on it

why did you put rb 20 valve covers and timing cover on the "rb25" in the ute?looks good as hell, was thinkin bout doing the same thing, but to labor and time intensive for me.

i didnt.i used a r32 rb25de and turbo'd it.the reason i used the r32 is because that head goes on top of the rb30 block no issues.if you use a r33 block you have to muck around with the galleries i believe.since i was gona do the 30 conversion, thats why i used a r32 motor.plus they are only $400 lol

Lol, good stuff.

Also makes me think back to when my buddy and I were 16 and towing our lawn mowing equipment around on the back of a ford taurus with a 1" hitch. Worked wonders, was cheaper than buying a truck, plus it was a big upgrade to our pre-drivers license days, which was driving our tractor around the mountain with one person sitting in the 3' x 4' tow along trailer right next to the weedwhackers, gasoline, and other equipment.

Worst post I have ever seen. Have fun with your 4x4 status hatch... Whether it be your taste or not at least admire the work that goes into such a project...

i knew id get hate for that comment, but the question was what do you think about utes (trucks). if you do stuff to that requires a pickup, than get a pickup. its kinda simple.

oh, and the roads where i live are s***. so yes, i like my 4x4 stance. if i had a daliy i would slamm the crap out of my hatch.

and pardon me for trying to find the best deal on wheels.
