Well i really like my G but I am starting to want something faster!

I was thinking that i could spend like 7-10k Plus my Paid for G35 for a E55, (I really like this car)

Or i could keep my G and put a SC on it.

I am looking for a low 4 sec 0-60. Can i get this out of a G35 sedan for 7k

Superchargers are something you can do by yourself, much easier than installing a turbo setup. If you've got the cash to put down for it, go ahead and do it.

I just realized after reading SVTs declaration that I've gone past 500.

I have the cash to do it but, is it really worth it. I like the fact about the TQ increase but am I looking to loose alot on my MPG (i know i will if i drive it fast) but durning normal driving like 80 mph on the interstate?

I do a lot of interstate driving 90% so my MPG is a big deal.

I would get a set of directions and read thru them completely to ensure you understood all of the steps. Would help if you had a friend that was mechanically inclined. I would also check around to see how much it would cost to have someone install it. I remember one of the salesmen at Infiniti telling me that they had a shop that could do it and it wouldn't void my warranty. Might want to check with your local dealers Infiniti and Nissan. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Personally, I would get the E55 AMG. I think those cars are truley amazing. The only downside is that they aren't offered with a manual transmission.

my neighbor has cycled through an old E55, new E55, new E63, and is now waiting on his new CLK63 Black Edition. They are massively impressive but not for everyone...

I would say a turbo setup will give you better mpg on the highway since while cruising you're not making much boost. I would guess with the s/c you'll see quite a loss of mpg on highway..

Also, i thought the sedans only had like 260ish hp and not the 298 like the coupes did?

03-04 sedans had 260 auto or 6mt

03-04 coupes had 260 auto and 280 6mt

05-06 sedans and coupes also 07 coupe auto 280

05-06 sedans and coupes 6MT get 298 also 07 Coupe 6MT gets 298

I got the big pony under my hood lol

I also like the E55 (03-06) I don't mind an auto but a manual would be better. I like the status a benz brings! but i am scared about the dependability.

I don't want to be forking over money to fix the damn thing every month!

would the turbo get me the same MPG that i get now or close to it?

Because i don't want to go to 14-18 mpg with gas going to 4 bux a gallon!

your going to lose mpg no matter what but unlike a sc with turbos you will be able to use a boost controller to get the desired amount of boost. You can turn it down or crank it up enabling you to hopefully get better mileage, if that is what your worried about.

Depending how you drive will depend on the mileage....but highway to highway driving for a s/c vs a turbo...you'll get better mileage out of the turbo....

I used to get about 12-15 mpg in city driving with my talon tsi awd...and i'd rock 28 on highway trips....and that was with an upgraded intercooler, turbo, piping, BOV, and exhaust......about 325hp outta my 2l
