its all on you man...depends on ur budget. i mean, i would say RB26..but then u probably can't do that. most people do s13s. thats what i have. the majority of the people on this board have s13 sr20s, in which they're in 95s, 96s...they are cheaper, plus a little bit stronger. but anyways, check out the SEARCH feature to find out more...

Remeber, SR20's are going to set you back about $3000+ for the engine and the bare minimum of stuff needed to get it in.

Its a large commentment of time and resources. Think it over before you jump in.

If you really were going to do the swap, generally the S13 Redtop is the common swap for price reasons. If you were not going to mod the engine at all, you may want to spend a little extra cash on an S14 engine.

Also, look into all your options (not trying to confuse you). Don't forget about the CA18DET. Decide what you want the car for first, then go from there.

If you have $4000, you could do a nice swap. Get a redtop for 2500, then get an Apexi N1 for like 400, and some gauges for like 200, then you'll still have about 900 to worry about other things. There will be other things to do. Unfortunately, SCC's $3000 dollar swaps are aren't easy to come by, or if they are, they won't be reliable.

I started my swap with just over $5000, and I just got my engine, a motorset for 2200, and I have about 2500 left to burn through. I already bought gauges, clutch, fuel pump, TO bearing, and my motormounts.
