I'm very curious to know this. I'm trying to think of something creative to put back there. I'm talking about the glove box between the speakers on the rear shelf.

I've thought about putting a mini refrigerator back there as a luxury to the back seat riders where they could enjoy an ice cold soda. Thought about connecting a slim PS2 back there (I THINK it might fit) and running it to a nice sized screen that would mount behind the front center arm rest so both rear passengers could see it. I already do small things like keep peppermints in the ashtrays and a guide to the XM stations in the center armrest for the back seat. My Aunt said she felt like she was riding in a limo when she rode in my back seat because of the dark tint, and the ultra smooth and quiet ride. Yet, she said it's lacking the amenities of even an average limo.

I think it'll all start with doing something with the rear shelf, then going from there. Ideas?

I Dont' ever use it and nothing is in there. I imagine if I had passengers they might use it, but no-one ever sits in the back seat. Maybe I'll put a message board type thing in there. That way people behind me can gain from my words of wisdom.

I'm putting a 1000w power inverter back there, and wiring up two 120v outlets in each of the rear door ashtray things.

It is. Please take better pictures when you have the trunk (boot, to you) panel removed. Wonder how they get the cold air there?

Going to make replacing the fuel pump a real party.

I have my owners manual, a tire presure gauge, and extra 3rd brake light bulb, it was a two pack, and other crap that I cant remember now. The one thing that sucks is that the spring for the door is broken, so the door doesn't pop up by itself. I have to pull it open.

Very interesting. Rear A/C is one thing that crossed my mind but I just didn't think it was possible because of the location. Wow, more pics please!

I like the idea of an AC up there, but I don't know if cold air blowing on the back of your neck would be comfortable?

Is that a self contained electric unit, or is it powered from the main compressor?

I LOVE the back seat of the Q! My brother and I took turns driving, and I found the back to be much more comfortable than the front-passenger. 90-93 Qs dont have height adjustments on the passenger side so the back support never feels right to me.

I use the drop-down center console as a soda can container. If it was refrigerated, I'd be set. My rear parcel shelf stores either the owner or service manual.

My one complaint is that the hump in the center of the rear bench makes it impossible to lay down and sleep.

If I use a higher pixel setting on the digital your forum won't let me post as it exceeds 500000 bytes. Do you have any ideas on how I can improve picture quality?

I'd suggest you follow the links in my sig to upload pics to Members Rides, but there's been some problems with that, so if you don't already have a Members Rides section, I'd suggest you send them to me (email in profile) and I'll host/post them for you.

Mine came with a lamp mounted on the shelf, i think it was a factory option. It also had curtains at some stage. The tracks are still on the bottom but not the top.

It's a JDM model so has the "Air Purifier" too. Pretty sure it doesnt blow cold air, just supose to filter it i think. Do the US models have controls in the rear armrest?

Power Curtains!!!!

Holy crap there were some cool options.

US-market cars just have a storage bin inside the rear armrest, as well as the one on the rear shelf.
