Hmmm… I’m guessing writing all forum entries in French every Friday might be a little over the top for a lot of the members here… however… having a French thread could turn out to be a fun diversion. Who knows we might even learn something. Personally I never studied French, (sorry) but thanks to the Internet and Bable Fish I can use a translator.Pescakl1 wrote:What we could do is what English speaking coworkers wanted to do in my previous company: French Fridays. Every Friday, we will only write in the forum in French. The other days, in English as usual.
No one interested?
Okay… Here’s how everyone can participate. If you don't speak French… you can use Babel Fish translator to decipher the forum messages. Simply copy any French text responses into your clipboard and head over to Babel Fish. Paste in the message and translate it back to English. Then, while still in Babble Fish, you can type your response in English and use Babel Fish to translate it over to French. Then copy the translation and paste it into your forum reply.

HINT: I find some English words get lost in the Babel Fish translation . So... I type my reply in English... use Babel Fish to translate it to French... "then" copy the French translation and use Babel Fish to translate it back to English. I find I usually have to change a word or so my reply in French, still makes sense when someone uses Babel Fish to translate it back to English.
If you do speak French (which many of our members do) you’ll probably get a few good laughs over the poor translations… (if not a laugh over our ignorance of the language.)
Lets get this party started. Je me suis inscrit pour la classe française quand j'étais dans le lycée mais je n'ai pas fait les tâches de travail. En conséquence j'ai échoué la classe. Les bonnes nouvelles sont lui n'ont pas semblé avoir un impact ma vie après école.
