What do you love most about your M? I have a 06 m45 blk on blk for me the sound of the v8 with a I ken cold air intake the motor just purrs

There are so very many things I love about both M's that I've owned. The 07 had the rare Bourbon Leather (most call it 'peanut butter') contrasting with the Black Obsidian exterior, chrome OEM 8-spoke wheels, and 5.1 surround Bose system. My 09 M is Moonlight White Tri-coat Pearl with wheat interior (which would be even better in deep BMW red). I love the way the M is really two different cars. It is a great, smooth, quiet cruiser on long motorway trips - especially the 09 with the 7 speed gear box. But it is also a great sports coupe (with a roomy back seat) when I drive in "DS" mode. The way the rev-matching takes over and hurls the car forward with 0% hesitation for driving about like a mad man (traffic permitting). And it transforms into either mode instantly. No Merc or BM will do both personalities to the degree that our Ms will do. The Tanabe exhaust I added provides a deep attention grabbing growl when giving it the beans, but is nearly silent at motorway speeds. And the rear theater screen with reclining seats and armrest with individual temp and convenience controls is not found in any other car in it's price range.

I have to admit the bourbon leather seats are probably the best feature on the M alone
