You may recognize the name i posted my new and improved build and after talking to the guys down at prs miami "guys doing my car" they strongly recommened NISTUNE. I have never heard of it but i decided to buy one anyway knowing that i was looking to surpass my afc neo.

But the question is was this a good buy or no? Will it really make my ecu standalone? pros / cons anyone?

Nistune basically turns your ecu into a standalone. It's the best tuning option available, as long as you know how to tune it.

That's the option I'm leaning towards myself. It works like a stand alone and cost just a bit more than a rom tune.

im currently running Nistune on my KA soon to be KA-T, i love it! the ability to self tune, and change little things on your own(as long as you know what your doing), an few of my friends also run Nistune on their KA-T's and also recomend it

I have it and am very happy with it. The interface is pretty easy to work with, and problems are pretty easy to diagnose since it uses the consult connection. The creator releases new software updates quite frequently with program improvements and bug fixes.
