armoral wheel cleaner. You spray it on and let it sit for 30 sec and then wash it off with a sponge. It works WONDERS.

I use Meguiar's All Purpose Cleaner. Leave it on for around 30 seconds, agitate with a brush, and then rinse off.

I like to treat my wheels like my car paint. Soap and water for me. Once in a while a wax.

But your wheels dont see much road action vinny! You can probably just use a california duster to clean em off!

After drivin on NY roads with all the crap they are exposed to, they need somethin stronger than just carwash soap most of the time!

That sucks, sounds bad over there then. I just sometimes hear bad reviews on those 30sec cleaners. Where if you leave it too long it can stain your wheels permanent and if your lucky it might go away.

Very true, people should be very cautious of certain wheel cleaners. Some actually contain acid, phosphate, etc which are extremely dangerous for the clear coat if misused.

An air compressor is a better bet IMO, i had a leaf blower and i returned it.. it works, but not with the dexterity of a air compressor..

It was also so loud that my neighbors rolled their eyes at me constantly because of it and I felt like I was deaf for 30 min after I dried the car!

Okay thanks! I need to still do my research then.

+1 - car soap and a towel to rub it all off - and every time I rotate the wheels I clean the insides out the same way, sometimes having to resort to using a product like "greased lightning" to break down the grime on the inside.

But if you clean your car as often as me, the wheel faces never get dirty!

+1 Nothing, I repeat NOTHING, will destroy an original rim finish faster than brake dust that is allowed to accumulate, and go through wet/dry cycles. Regular washing is the key. Doesn't matter how you do it, but frequent washing is the ticket!

Daan, Calgary must be a clean place! Mine goes through the touchless about once a week on average! Dirty Ontario...

After I wash it.

I only use Microfiber and use Meguiar's nXt Wax.
