Alright, so i own a 1990 240SX Hatch, and well its black right now, i just got it running, and this summer i am going to paint it myself, well with my brother in law cuz he is really good at it. Anyways im pretty much gonna paint it any color i want, then i am just gonna get different paintjobs anytime i want. Anyways im fixing my body damage, and then i was thinking about making it a giant chalkboard . I can buy chalkboard paint in either black or green, and i can paint my car with this. I have seen a Civic Si with this paint and i thought it was cool so i figured why not, im just doing it for the hell of it, then after that im thinking pearl white or blue or something. Anyways just wondering what you guys thought! Give me any critisizm or anything!

Actually, I like that idea in one respect. Anyone think chalked on numbers would count at autocross?

I dont know why i want to do it, i just think it would be cool, yeah i painted it like a chalkboard i would write on it with chalk obviously, i am just doing it to be different. Thanks guys for your opinions

i've seen a volkswagen rabbit with the kind of paint...will it just look like flat black?

if i saw a car with chalkboard paint i would definately buy some chaulk just to write expletives and derogatory statements on the vehicle so i could laugh my *** off everytime i saw it in traffic. im sure there are other people out there like me, so be careful.

I guess everyone wants to be different and also paint their car flat black too. I say go for a OEM color or another color similar to what it was originally painted, but thats just me.

Well, i dont know a part of me wants to just make it a normal color. However i kinda want to make it a chalkboard, and if i did i would go with the green, i mean the black is cool but its getting a little old, and green i feel would be better. Thanks for your opinions guys!

ive seen a car painted chalkboard green... and all the decals on the car were done in a chalkwhite and looked edgy like it was really chalk (it was painted :P) and it actually looked pretty neat, ahd the whole school idea on it, with some math written on the back and stuff.. hehe, it had its own cool factor to it
