I'm thinking about selling my fastback and buying a coupe. I'd pull the suspension parts off of my fastback before I sold it, so thats not an issue. I just love how the coupes look with the silvia front ends and I was planning on ordering an SR next summer, so non running is not an issue for me. I can get enough for my fastback to cover the coupe and have quite a bit left over.

I'm also buying a second car this november/december, so it won't matter if the 240 is down for a while getting done.

Go for it man. I never really like the coupes, but it does have a classy look to them.

I say do it and make sure you do all the conversion work to the tee. Make people think its a real silvia, except left hand drive. And get some Falken tires to get sponsered.

I found an 89 coupe close by and they're asking $1000 for it.

The coupes stock are ugly, but with the silvia conversition, they're so hot. My hatch is nice, but the "silvia" would be just so awesome.

I have a nice hatch(avatar of my car).....i was thinking about converting it to a 180(glass, tails, etc), but the coupes are just so much sexier when converted. I guess I'll have to keep looking for my project coupe or just keep my hatch.

just make sure to take your time when looking, and not jump into the first one you "think" is good enough
