Hi.I used to have a 95 240sx se.It was a nice car but i wanted to keep up with mustangs so i tried doing the sr swap.I test drove a mustang gt and ended up buying it.Big difference.And then i had the idea of supercharging the mustang to keep up with camaros.Not long after that I was driving around with a friend and saw a 2001 camaro ss for sale.I test drive it and bought it.HUGE difference from the mustang.Right now i want to be faster then 04 vipers and exotic sports cars.I was gonna do heads cam,and i got the cam sitting here.The cam alone that i have with my mods should make close to or slightly over 400whp.I know that from other people who have it.But i have the urge for another car.

According to my history i would end up buying a viper or a zonda. But that ain't gonna happen.Anyway.I've been looking into the 240sx again.But was wondering is it possible to have a daily driven 240sx preferrably an SR that can beat an ls1?I don't know my hp numbers,but i raced a trans am with long tube headers,true duals,and intake who makes 350RWHP & 358RWTQ he runs a 12.44 @ 112mph in the 1/4 with drag radials,but we raced from a roll so the drag radials don't matter.We went from a 55mph roll.He pulled 1/2 car on me by 135mph.So i don't think i make much less hp then him.The camaro with me weight around 3600 pounds i assume.

I've never driven a turbo car.I'm never even driven IN a turbo car.The fact that i want to experiance the turbo and my love for the 240sx make me wanna get one again.But what's the point of doing that if i'm gonna have a bunch of riceboys honking at me all the time.And gotta look at the camaros with envy.Should i keep the camaro or not(Don't be biased)

As far as performance, 350hp is not even close to the full capabilities that the KAT and SR and every other nissan turbo motor can reach. "daily driven" depends on your definition of the term. To some people thats AC, heater, full interior, and whatnot; to others the only requirement for a "daily driver" is a liscense place.

If your going to spend all this money and then "look at the camaros with envy", just get a camaro, nothing wrong with that.

So a stock ka with a turbo can handle 350whp?

it's all up to you man...my honest opinion is nothing will ever dispatch the pure brute strength of a 5.0, or LS1 (or LS2 if you wanna get nuts and put in the new Vette engine )

But, there's something to be said for (forgive me) making something out of nothing....any old idiot can drop cams, headers, intake & exhaust on an LS1 and make a fast car....

It takes work, and planning (not to mention $$$) to bring a 140-145 hp car up to 400 rwhp
