Okay, so I've been saying that Im going to get wheels for about 6 months now but ran into some problems with financing, family issues, college etc. however i finally have enough $$ and will be able to finally make some progress with my car. My only mods consist of HID's Hi,Lo, and Fogs (Aftermarket fogs and switch), 20% all around tint, lamin-x taillight tint, and LEDs in interior/reverse/ license plate. Okay now after my pointless rambling i need your guys input, My car is silver and i need some opinions on what color wheel to look at. Im not sure whether to sorta match my tint and tails and go black or not(I have really mixed feelings about black wheels). Also Im going to purchase the Eibach pro-kit and with 19" wheels how big of a wheel gap i will have after. Due to the fact i live in Northern WV i do not want to slam my car because i will scrape everywhere and i have no interest of doing that. So id appreciate it greatly if you guys could possibly throw your 2cents in about wheel color choice and maybe some pics of 19" w/ Eibachs. thanks so much.

I have the exact set-up you are talking about and I absolutely love it.....My wheels are gunmetal and I think the contrast is awesome, but everyone like diff things. You should be fine with the pro-kit, just be careful pulling up to curbs.

Here are some pics of my car to give you an idea of the look with 19"s and the pro-kit and also some uber gratuitous self promotion lol

first off...wheel gap in the rear

Your setup is very nice. that made me 100% on getting Eibachs now. However, as a full-time college student i do not have a stable income right now so my price range is limited with wheels and tires, but i love the gunmetal look. it looks very good what do you think about like a polished silver or black with a silver lip im still trying to find those wheel that are " The ones" im still not set on anything=/

dude i'm with you on the poor college student part lol I'm 21 and a senior this year, sucks! I had my wheels siting in the garage for about 6 months before I could buy the tires lol

black with a silver lip is always a classic look especially if they are mesh wheels.

picking wheels is hard, especially on a budget. Also black wheels on a silver car is hit and miss sometimes. On some cars it looks perfect and others it looks out of place. Tenzo makes a sweet mesh wheel that a few guys have. Type M I think it's called, not sure of the price though.

If it were me I would take my time and save for the wheels I wanted because it will be one of the main aesthetic features on the car that you will look at every time you see it.

It was a pita to install, especially with the sunroof cut-out. I've decided though, that if the vinyl ever comes off I going to have it painted because I absolutely love the look. Especially now that I have wrapped my mirrors with black vinyl, it ties it together nicely.

Nice work on the fog light switch!

So you used the blue vinyl on just the fogs or the headlights too?

What HIDs did you end up going with?

Switch looks clean!

Sidenote: I don't think I've ever seen anyone stick their key in there.

the Lamin-x is on the tailights only the fogs have nothing on them, also there 8000k. I really wanted to find a switch that looked stock so i searched around on ebay until i found foglights with a switch that was close to stock. I always put mine in there idk why, typically i dont like things in my pockets when i drive, (Weird i know), so i just stick it in there. lol

Which fog lights did you get from ebay? Are they the ones that come with H8 bulbs or H11 bulbs? Were they plug n play in terms of the actual fog lights? Finally, where did you splice the wires into?

Answer all these questions and you'll win an emoticon !
