Price $2,500 Body Style Hatchback Mileage 220,003 Exterior Color Grey Interior Color Grey Engine 4 Cylinder Gasoline Transmission 5 Speed Manual Drive Type 2 wheel drive - rear Fuel Type Gasoline Stereo AM/FM Compact Disc Playr Doors Two Door Stock No. N90-104219 VIN JN1HS36P0LW104219

although the miles are high, the price i think is negotiable and he says it runs liek its only got 100k on it. "price friendly! On another note, this one rides like it has 100k miles on it. Don't let the miles fools you, the engine is strong, the a/c works great, the tires are good, does not burn or use oil or leak anything, the trans works great as does the clutch. The paint has clear coat peels and there is typical rust under the rear spoiler, but that's it."

Anti-Lock Brakes; Air Conditioning; Alloy Wheels; Cruise Control; Rear Window Defroster; Power Door Locks; Power Mirrors; Power Windows; Power Steering; Sunroof/Moonroof; Tilt Wheel

any input is welcomed

thats a REALLY crappy price. Its a SOHC with very high mileage (dont listen to how he says it "feels," that means nothing). You can get DOHCs with half that mileage for the same price or less.

Keep lookin man, dont settle for a crappier car just cause you want it bad! (I know how it goes...)

I've been under the impression that only HICAS cars came with ABS. Does it really have ABS?

I would pass on it for that price, maybe if the seller would knock off about $1500, then I would think about it.

ill find that out tomorrow, the dealer is closed

i found another one, that has some cosmetic damage(i.e. broken signals, mis-matched color fenders and hatch) its a 5spd not sure on miles b/c it is locked

its sitting at a auto-garage and the guy that owns it just left it there. he wants a grand for it but is willing to talk down to 800-900. im unsure of mileage due to the fact of it being locked and night time when i looked at it. The two guys workin at the shop said the car wont start, thinking tis the alternator or starter. Im going to try to get a key and look at the interior and try to get the motor started ont he lot tomorrow or friday

^^^hows that sound? for a project car that i need running stock for a few months

A dealership will most likely NOT knock the price down of that car to anything even remotely reasonable (less than 1500)... Forget about it man, its not a good deal and you'd probably be sorry if you did it!

How willing are you to get a project car? ...What about an auto and then do a swap? I know of a 35k mile mint condition 93-- but the ad says it needs engine work and its an auto. Price is right though: $800

My '90 with 210K miles was $900, all the power options work and the A/C did too, for a little while. I would be skeptical until you see and drive the car. Check the sunroof for leaks, and the body seams for evidence of a wreck

Its probably at the price right now what I would pay for it. If your really really desperate, 1500. That car obiviously needs work though.

Also remember, higher milage effects everything. My car just turned 150,000 and i find myself replacing the steering rack, and the suspension bushings are WAY overdue for replacing. It adds up, thats why initial cost should be low.

I think that some of the info on that aution is faulty... such as where it says under options that it has "Dual Front Airbag Restraints" - if by this they mean the automatic seatbelts then they are correct.. but this car doesn't have airbags.

For the record, I'd jump on this deal if I didn't already own a '90. But I wouldn't pay any more than like $1800 2k would be really pushing it... but at it's current price I'd go for it. Hope that you finally can get your hands on a 240 buddy!

i wouldn't hit the grey one. too much especially since it snot in california. california prices are =/ but out of this state it should be cheaper. the red one looks alright for the price handle it. go jdm like the one in your avatar wink wink lol. you should be able to find some 89-90s for like 1000-1500 pretty easily in good condition

and i know 240s run good even at 200k miles but itd bebetter if you get one with 100k and drive it to 200k its like a freebe 100k miles for u to drive.

DAMN. That is about a grand too high man. I got my 91 SE for $2200 and that was too much in retrospect.

I wouldn't say that that is asking too much... I might offer say 1500 and see where it goes from there. I'd say that 2000 might be a little high but 1500 to 1800 would be about right... I mean kbb is probably around 2100 or so (I'm just guessing, and can be wrong)
