Right now it's at just over $1,100. I was checking it out because just the Intercooler and BOV puts me at over $1K, and if I could get a nice T3 turbo, then get a turbonetics manifold out of it, it might be worth it to get this kit.

Anybody ever heard of something like this? This is one of those too good to be true auctions, so I'm very leary of it.

for what? your SR? Why would you want a T3 for a SR?? That intercooler doesnt look like anything special....and BOV's are cheap....

I dont think you want to put a T3 on your sr....especially if you have to pay for it : ) ...a waste of money for what you will get out of it, IMO....

and piping...how will it automatically fit on the sr? you have to weld it or something?

If you want to piece something together like that, your better offf going the custom route, and you can have something put together for that amount of money, without much trouble....

Actually, the auction says something to the effect of "this is what you get, you just tell us what car and engine you have, and you'll get that kit"

So in effect, you'd get all the parts you need, and theoretically, they should fit. And if the T3 wouldn't be a good upgrade path, then back on eBay it goes.

I don't know, I just saw it, and wondered if maybe it would be worthwhile.

Well first i take in cosiderationg that it says "Turbo Kit/Turbocharger/Intercooler/BOV/HONDA"

Second, is "6 Polished Stainless Steel Mandrel Bends 2.25" (will never rust or chip like competitors steel piping!) "

and if you look at the piping it comes with, it wont fit a SR motor...

Third a T3 isnt a very good upgrade..and if it was i have like 6 of them that i would be willing to sell you for under $400, lol...

T3 isnt a bad turbo, but its not "that" much of an upgrade over a stock turbo, and you could pull one off a Z31 although you would need a custom manifold made, or one with a t3 flange.

Haha! Don't buy into gimmicks liek that one. They are always ripping people off. If you want a turbo upgrade, buy one from a serious dealer who knows what they're talking about. If you buy that one, and its not what it says, i seriously doubt the seller will do anything for you.
