i've never personally tried one myself. but a buddy of mine put an eprom chip in his honda civic and said he actually felt some kind of change. but that's just what he said to me. he recommended me getting one for my car..... the only thing is that they don't show an actual picture of it.... well either way if you do get it let us know how it went.

i emailed the seller and he said he can tune for 370cc and turbo applications. he said he does everything jwt ecu does. he also said he changes timing, speed limiter, rpm limiter.

anybody else ever try this?

He doesn't have any buyers for the chip so far. Also his last sold item can't be checked because its to old.Seems like a scam to me.

EPROM burning isn't a hard or new thing if you know what you're doing. (It's how I ran my last RB.)But the lack of pictures interests me. They're in CA so maybe someone can get them to allow a pick up to check if they're legit?

ok i bought one today to see what happens. I gave him all my info and mods and he already shipped it. once i get it i will solder it in and see what happens. he said the rpm limiter will be raised to 7200 rpm and that the speed limiter will be removed, and that it will make my egr code cel go off. so will see what happens and i will keep u guys posted.

Are you talented with a soldering iron and desoldering tool? If not, might I suggest taking your ECu to a TV/VCR repair shop and showing them what you want done? It's pretty intricate work and burning out the board would suck.

ok hes in cali too so should get it soon, but my car will be down for about 2 more weeks until i finish my kat. so i will post when its all ready to go.

good luck with your purchase, i hope it works out for you. i would ask for a hardcopy of the timing map so you know what kind of advance youll be running while boosted.

depending on what type of chip it is, you may be able to pick up a socket to make it easier to swap them in the future if need be.

my buddy does that to his civic and then chips people car's for like 50 bucks. made some good money last semester. but keep us updated.

i hope its not like those chips that are on ebay that dont do jack. my buddy got that for his civic and it dropped the redline to 3200 and idled high and ran like crap. it was suppose to move the redline and give him more power. it was 20 bucks.
